Replicated after a Piper J-3 Cub stationed at Flying W Airport in New Jersey, this airplane is owned and operated by Joe Costanza, an Airbus pilot and avid Cub pilot. Mr. Costanza’s Cub is a 1941 JF-65 (originally a Franklin-powered Cub) but later equipped with a Continental A-65-8 with a Sensenich wooden propeller. One of the most influential airplanes of all the time, the iconic Cub is one of general aviation’s best loved classic aircraft! Initially manufactured between 1938-1947, over 20,000 were built and many are still flying today. This 1:72 scale die-cast replica features detailed printed graphics, realistic landing gear, see-through cockpit, and a rotating propeller. Included display stand lets you customize the flight configuration. Measures 4”l with a wingspan of 6”.
