A tramping pack for teenagers and smaller adults
The Tatonka Akela 45 is a 45-litre tramping pack with an adjustable V Comfort Vario carrying system. Combining lightness and flexibility with effective load distribution, it offers a practical carrying setup for teenagers and smaller adults.
Before a cool morning start, separate your sleeping gear into the lower compartment and organise clothing and provisions in the main compartment. Keep smaller essentials in the lid and zipped side pockets, then secure walking poles to the outside when you want your hands free.
Adjustable support on the track
Load-control straps, a height-adjustable chest belt and a padded hip strap let you fine-tune the carrying setup. The reverse-pull hip belt makes adjustment straightforward, while compression straps around the sleeping-bag compartment help manage the lower load.
